Autobot. Transforms into a futuristic car. He is one of the Autobot Vehicles. Hot Rod managed to reclaim the Matrix from Galvatron in The Movie. The power of the Matrix changed him into Rodimus Prime and he became Autobot Leader. Later Optimus Prime returned and he got the Matrix back from Rodimus Prime, thus the latter changed back into Hot Rod.
